Highlights include the Auckland Pet & Animal Expo at the Auckland Showgrounds on September 19–20 and Barking Mad at Takapuna at Waiwharariki Anzac Square on October 17

• Dog Day at The Springs: Sunday, August 23, 2026 at The Springs Tavern, Onehunga — Meet rescue dogs and enjoy a family-friendly afternoon with The Dog Rescue Project.East

• East Auckland Small Dogs Meet-Up: Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the Fenced Dog Park, Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga Heights — A social play hour for small dogs, puppies, and their owners.

• East Auckland Dog Walk & Connect: Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Ōmana Regional Park, Maraetai — A gentle wellness walk with professional dog trainers sharing confidence tips, supporting the Pet Refuge.

• Auckland Pet & Animal Expo: Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Auckland Showgrounds, Epsom — The region's major showcase for pet care products, services, and expert advice.

• Painting with Puppies: Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Studio One Toi Tu, Ponsonby — A beginner painting class alongside adoptable puppies from Auckland Puppy Rescue to benefit the charity.

• Barking Mad at Takapuna: Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Waiwharariki Anzac Square, Takapuna — A community celebration featuring a fun dog show, races, expert talks, and local market stalls.

How do i register ?

From the home page (click the logo to reach the home page), click on the ‘login/register’ button in the top navigational tool bar.

You need to supply and confirm your email address and set a password and complete your user profile. Once registered, you will be allocated a default user role for registering users.

To access some assets and more features you may need a different user role. Site Administrators can change user roles after you register. Or you may receive an emailed User Invitation with a different user role pre-assigned to you.
